This month, The Catch features a story about Enbridge Energy.

Minnesota Public Radio’s Kirsti Marohn has been following news regarding Line 3. Enbridge is facing government action and criminal charges stemming from violations during the construction of the Line 3 pipeline in Northern Minnesota.

Marohn said this pipeline crosses more than 200 water bodies including some major rivers like the Mississippi.

“One of the concerns is that the regulations aren’t really designed for such a massive project like this,” she said.
