16 years after we landed on the moon, explorers reached the deepest point in the Great Lakes.

In 1985, a submersible reached Superior Maximus, 1,300 feet beneath the surface of Lake Superior. A year later, they left behind a time capsule meant to be opened in 2036.

40 years later, we’re going back.

We’re teaming up with @hiddenbelowgreatlakes to send an underwater drone down to Superior Maximus to livestream everything we see.
