Gary Wilson is an independent journalist who focuses on the Great Lakes and related environmental, economic and social issues.
While covering a wide range of Great Lakes issues, Gary is best known for coverage of Great Lakes restoration, the Waukesha water diversion and the Toledo and Flint water crises. An emerging interest is the junction of environmental and social issues in urban areas.
Gary was raised in the Downriver area of Detroit and is a life-long resident of the Great Lakes region, he currently resides in Chicago.
